This week’s triple j additions: Amy Shark, Gorillaz, and disco Kasabian

Polish Club's Alright Already is the feature album this week on triple j, and the closest thing to old fashioned rock music being added this week.

Northlane and sleepmakeswaves have the industrial/hardcore corner covered, sure, but aside from these two acts’ (great) tracks, it would appear every addition this week shares a similar cruisy/claustrophobic dance vibe.

Various tracks from Drake’s ‘More Life’ album will be spun on triple j across the week, and it’s clear to hear his influence in Allday’s new single, ‘In Motion’. Kasabian’s ‘You’re In Love With A Psycho’ is the closest thing to an outlier in this week’s additions list – a chirpy Brit-pop tinged disco track which sounds like turn-of-the-century Robbie Williams mixed with Electric Six. If this was by a band without such a

A big week for playlist additions, but not a very varied one.
